Lynn Hamilton brings more than 35 years of experience as teacher and a professional Educational Consultant. Lynn established her practice in 1982 and worked in New York and Connecticut prior to relocating to California in 1985. She has placed more than 2500 students in schools, colleges and special needs programs in every region of the U.S. as well as Europe, Australia and Asia and her experience and reputation are nationally recognized. Lynn has an undergraduate and graduate degree in education, as well as certification in learning disabilities, with continuing education in counseling.
How long have you been an independent counselor?
Lynn began her experience in educational counseling in 1981.

Lynn has been college counseling in public and private schools on both the East and West coasts, as well as assisting in application review with several private colleges.

Lynn travels extensively throughout the United States and internationally visiting schools, programs and universities to evaluate their environments and curricula.

Lynn regularly attends Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), The Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSATB), Learning Disabilities Association (LDA), National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP). Lynn also attends National Association of College Admission Counseling(NACAC), SAT, ACT and College Board conferences throughout the year, as well as numerous certified conferences and seminars, often as a speakers.
